This is a newsletter layout design for a local homeless shelter in Pasadena- Friends in Deed. Some of my own illustration are added to make it more interesting visually.
ASTHMA SALTON SEA
A project collaborating with UC riverside to spread awareness of asthma in the Coachella valley community. Salton Sea is a lake located near the imperial valley and has been polluted in the late 80s. The toxins evaporate with water and has been causing respiratory problems for the local people for years. This infographic was created to inform them the danger of asthma, how to deal with it and where it originated from.
FOOD ILLUSTRATIONS
THE STRONG MUSEUM OF PLAY
This set of design was made based on the Strong Museum of Play in New York. I interpreted its exhibitions and made the designs accordingly.
SPACE ODDITY INTERPRETED POSTER
A lyric illustration based on the famous song of David Bowie, Space Oddity. As a part of Major Tom's trilogy, Space Oddity is often interpreted as a psychedelic experience the fictional character has, and thus my inspiration.
TRIPPIE REDD INTERPRETED TOUR POSTER
Trippie Redd is an American hip-hop/RnB singer whose songs talks heavily about demons and drugs use. The idea was inspired by his electronic music style and his focus on mental illnesses.
